I've been reading through the old journal posts I've made. I've grown so much. I've lost so much. Thank you Julia Doreen Murray for reminding me I had this. I've... been okay. Existing, for the most part, that seems to be the majority of what a lot of people do these days. Exist. It saddens me about my plan in life, yet it also excites me. I have every intention to cut out everyone, with the exception of one or two individuals, and leave my past behind. I am trapped here. I need to be free.
I need to find me.

Fragile Things

A small glass heart,
Calm, content, a tiny piece of art.
Storms raged constantly around the brittle glass,
But never even scratched it's mass,
Then one day, something happened to the small fragile creation,
And the storm hit its core, shattering the beautiful heart into the dust of cremation,
Then the little heart was no more,
The broken shattered dust scattered all over the floor.

Ever graced with beauty like a dove,
My essence, my mere existence yearns for you,
You, who makes me feel happy and wooed,
Your eyes and soul match mine,
Our fates are intertwined,
My happiness meets your sadness,
In hopes of stopping our madness,
In the hopes that one day,
With more meaning than I can convey,
We can say, "We got better"
